A Different View On Design
The lead architect for the Anton Hotel studied at the Technical University of Innsbruck and parallel to that managed his father’s carpentry firm. His working life includes several years of collaboration with Heinz-Mathoi-Strehli and an intense cooperation ith architectural colleague Reinhard Honold.
In 2001 he founded his Tatanka GmbH in Mils with Joseph Bleser and Thomas Thurn. For his work on the Anton he was awarded the National Architecture Prize for Touristic Structures in 2002, together with his design collaborator Dieter Comploi.
In 2001 we won the state prize for Architecture which is awarded every two years.
